" Give me six hours to chop down a tree and i will spend the first four sharpening the axe."
- Abraham Lincoln
I think this quote means that if someone told me to chop down a tree I would try to save the tree for however much longer i could because of a trees' natural and much needed beauty in life. The tree would stand proudly for it's last 4 hours then die a quick but heroic death after all it has done for us. But why would i chop down a tree anyway? We need those trees, so it makes no sense to let it sit there and have someone harm it; what is the world coming to?! pretty soon this planet will be misshapen and bare, just like an old tree.
Please write down what you thing this quote means. :) keep in mind you may also respectfully disagree and agree!!
